Wonderful
This was our second stay here. The location is great ... just down the street from Little Italy, Chinatown, Ghirardhelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39. It is one block away from the starting point of one of the Cable Cars (which we love). We love walking to the cafes and restaurants in this busy and active area of Little Italy. The bus goes right by the hotel. The best part is that parking is included at the hotel. We park our car and use public transportation (cable cars, buses, bikes and feet). So easy. The staff is super friendly. They have always been so accommodating of us, providing the ideal room (top floor, away from the street). The price is good for a downtown San Francisco stay. I highly recommend it.
I don't say I don't "like" ... just be mindful that this is a clean, safe, no frills hotel. The building is a little on the older side but everything is functional and clean. The building has been well maintained.

Have always loved the ability to park there and walking distance to wharf.

Great location! The cable car station, the fisherman's wharf, and Little Italy are within walking distance. Before check-in time, the hotel let my car park in the garage, so I didn't need to worry about parking in town and on time! The hotel staff was friendly and quickly responded to my email questions.

This was an excellent hotel!
+ Staff was amazing and so nice, parking was a plus. The room was big and spacious, it was clean and comfortable.
Location was absolutely perfect
- Nothing really, the hotel might be a little old school but it was really all functional and clean!

I liked the location. The price was affordable compared to other properties in the area. Parking is included in the price of the room which is unheard of in SF. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and polite. The room needs a deeper clean rather than just surface area cleaning. The whole hotel could use some updating but it’s not too bad. Lastly, the bed. The bedding is white which is a plus BUT then they added a colored decorative throw to the bottom half of the bed that serves no other purpose than decoration. It looked worn and not clean. Decorative pillows (3) were also added to the top of the bed (on top of the clean white pillow cases and sheets). The type of decorative pillows (non washable) that were probably on the floor while the bed was made then put back on the bed. Hotel’s should not do that!!!
