Not much.
Hotel entrance had steps to reception, no assistance with luggage. Room and corridors need a total revamp. Tiny room with air con sitting on the floor inside the room. Floor slopes in the room.

Lovely historic building. Super nice staff. Cool room and furnishings. Original artwork and fixtures/furnishings throughout. Great location. Walk to plenty. Will stay here again for sure.

Great location and cool historic building. Usual breakfast spread but enough to get you up and going each morning. Nice size room with a cool vintage feel and furnishings (in a good way).
Our room was on the Gough street side of the building and there was a bit of traffic noise. Not a crazy amount but single pane windows and thin walls meant that if you were a light sleeper it could keep you up. Not me or my 18 y.o. son but just something to note. You may want to request the Sutter St. side.

I stayed at Hotel Majestic with my family and we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. But what truly made our stay special was the staff — incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming. We would definitely come back!

I stay here all the time. It is my favorite hotel because the staff is so amazing. The location is perfect and you can't beat the price in SF. The bar has craft cocktails and good wine. The breakfast is consistently great. Free water, tea and coffee available anytime. Easy to pull up to and unload your luggage.
There are many steps to enter the front door lifting your luggage up. But there is an ADA entrance down a few feet if you need it. Because it is San Fran, if your room is on the street side, you can hear the traffic at all hours. I always ask for a quiet room that faces the side or back.

The hotel is beautiful! Classic vintage style, beautifully restored. The bar service was pleasant and relaxing, and the complimentary breakfast was just what we needed. Neighborhood was safe and convenient for the activities we had planned.
