Location
Overpriced for value, the hotel feels dirty and old and needs an update. Staff not very attentive at the lobby - the reception is a mess. Also, there were mosquitos everywhere. There are no mosquitos anywhere else in San Francisco!

The decor, the jazz music in the cosy lobby, the location, the good coffee
No breakfast available in the hotel, but great bakery nearby. Queen beds are quite small.

Location was out of town centre but really well serviced by buses. All day travel for our family was $10 (kids were free). Download the Muni app. Good size room & bathroom. Spotless. Free tea & coffee in reception. Not loads of restaurants in walking distance but theres a Petes Coffee, Super Duper Burger (both great) and an Italian where we got take out pizza from.

The location was good. Nice to have a free coffee station. The beds were comfortable
Would have been good to have some light breakfast options, given the price. Just some granola and pastries
The bathroom wasnt as clean as Id hoped, as we kept finding long black hairs
Also the shower wasnt very powerful

Marble countertops, tv/cable, nice furniture, staff kindness/attentiveness. Clean filtered water refill and complementary hot beverages wonderful. Key card worked great, good security on door. Bathroom products and functioning top notch for classic offerings.
Mattress uncomfortable/too hard. Window stuck/wouldnt open. Curtains didnt close all the way. Hallway carpets old/gross.

The entire place is styled beautifully. The location is great. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The room was elegant with a fantastic view. The front desk people were warm and accommodating. My best friend and I absolutely loved our stay!
Such a tiny thing... But the elevator was a little strange with a regular door in front of the elevator doors. Also it was a little pricy but it seemed worth it because it was a very safe area and it was so beautiful!

the entry and the hallways are very dingy and feel fun down. the lighting is horrible. feels like a low end motel. not up to the quality of the location or the actual rooms. the cleaning bins visible on each floor are a turn off

Rooms were tastefully done/decorated, room was a good size, bath room had good selection of soaps/shampoo, staff mostly helpful and pleasant
Price (I learned I paid nearly twice regular rate), floor access difficult (stairs, elevator) cannot accommodate two way traffic, rooms smell "old",
