Rooms were nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Great location and the breakfast was wonderful. Cookies and other snacks available 24/7. Free street parking was available during our short stay.

Looking for a hotel in the Presidio area of San Francisco? Stop looking and make a reservation at this fantastic B&B. The breakfasts, snacks, fresh cookies, signature chocolates were wonderful. Thank you to Jack for the outstanding hospitality. As Arnold would say, Ill be back!

Lovely bed and breakfast. Room is very attractive and bathroom has a great electric bidet. Snack and coffee, tea available all day. Cute little lounge where we met lots of nice people. Breakfast was hot eggs and choice of meats and breads, cereals etc. bread products were not great and it would be nice to have waffles or pancakes available when you are staying more than a couple of days. But overall, good and convenient.
Lights in bathroom had a timer and kept turning off on us. Some instructions on how to control this would be helpful.

Our room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. They have clearly invested in some pretty great soundproofing. The mattress was also super comfortablethose combined with the light blocking shades meant the best sleep of my life. The room was small but had everything youd need. Bathroom was well appointed and generously sized. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance, along with an amazing park (The Presidio). We also took advantage of the many bus lines that run within blocks of the B&B; getting around SFO was so easy. If you are dieting, beware!!! These folks lay a mean 24/7 all you can eat CHOCOLATE BUFFET. And homemade cookies. It truly tested my willpower; this was the good stuff (ie Ghirardelli). Breakfast was always tasty; Wi-Fi was super fast.
The breakfast buffet was the same every day.

It's easy to feel like home at the Monte Cristo Bed & Breakfast. The room I stayed in was very nice, furnished with antique and beautiful furnitures. Bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is vast and has probably been renovated recently. The hotel is small and the staff is friendly and helpful, and even offered some space for me to store my bike when I was not using it. Delicious homemade breakfast, papers are available in the breakfast area, and cookies and fruits are available all the time. In one word: GREAT! :)

The room, the bathroom, the location were great!
The breakfast experience was a bit disappointing. I am used to lavish and varied breakfasts and our were the same. Also, we had several experiences of our written requests being misinterpreted (maybe pencil was too light?).
