I’ve been waiting for a room to be ready to check in while other people were kept on going to be checked in. Same type of room.

The location of the Marriott Vacation Club in San Francisco is truly outstanding — walking distance to many major attractions. However, the room itself was a letdown. It was very dark, with windows that couldn’t be opened, which made the space feel stuffy. The bathroom was quite basic with gray walls and minimal amenities — no shower caps, for example. The furniture and lighting felt dated and somewhat depressing. The air conditioning system was also problematic: it either blasted icy air in one direction or made the room hot and stuffy — no comfortable middle ground. Overall, this was not the level of comfort or design I’ve come to expect from Marriott properties.

We loved our room the location and the cleanliness of the space for both rooms
We didn’t like that when it was brought to the attention of the reception team that one of our party in another room had had a poor sleep due to noise from above his response was quite dismissive and not very acknowledging of the complaint

Excellent location to fisherman’s wharf, staff helpful & friendly
Our room located next door to gym, hubby had to go into gym at 11pm & ask them to stop bouncing ball. It was very loud. Gym should close at a time ( night) for the comfy of guests.

avoid this hotel at all cost , wall and ceiling as thin as a crackers , you can hear someone slam the door like hundred times in a day, and people walk from your roof , even during a midnight , we stayed for 4 nights and cant sleep during a 4 nights , not to mention the morning 4am there was a truck company pick up the garbage with an ultra booster sounds that almost like a concert , horrible sound proof , room was dark cause there was no ceiling light , you can only rely on a wall lamp which is not automatically on, you have to go to every single lamp to switch it on / off , i've spent many days in states and by far this is the most unacceptable considering they charged for this price , the only extra 2 stars is because the staff was friendly and very helpful , but the property itself was an outrageous disaster

Everything about this hotel was first class from the comfortable rooms to the welcoming staff. It's location is fantastic and it's facilities great. A free laundry for guests, flavoured water and ice on tap etc. we couldn't find fault.
