The location is great, the fridge and microwave is great to have in the room, the staff is helpful and kind. The cleaning guy was awesome - polite and kind.
The floors were not so clean at all, my white socks got dirty, but everything else was nice and clean

the staff was very kind, though a little confused by questions i.e. late check-out. the room was clean, but the TV didnt have a Sleep button and was having some issues. not the biggest deal, but if anyone else is like me and falls asleep to ambient noise, it's a bit annoying. the location cannot be beat. i took a morning run through the presidio and was able to commute from the airport and to the Inn entirely on public transit which was massively convenient.
would be great if they test their amenities to make sure things are functioning properly before guests arrive.

Nestled within the beautiful Presidio of San Francisco, The Inn at the Presidio provided me with a charming and comfortable retreat during my recent visit to the city. As someone who appreciates a cozy atmosphere and personalized service, I found this inn to be a perfect fit for my needs. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly by the staff, who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the personal attention they provided, giving me recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. My room at The Inn at the Presidio was cozy and well-appointed, with rustic decor that added to its charm. While it may not have had all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel, it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, T.V, small fridge, microwave, and complimentary Wi-Fi. One of the highlights of my stay was the inn's picturesque location within the Presidio grounds. I enjoyed taking leisurely walks through the nearby trails, soaking in the serene atmosphere and admiring the historic architecture. The courtyard was also a lovely spot to relax with a book or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast served each morning which included juice, coffee, and pastry. It was a nice touch and provided a convenient start to my day before heading out to explore the city. Overall, my experience at The Inn at the Presidio was delightful. It offers all the amenities of a higher-rated hotel, its cozy atmosphere, personalized service, and scenic location more than made up for it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of San Francisco.

Disappointing
Location is good in Lombard Street. A lot of Restaurants, Shops and Bars in the area. Bus station very close.
Really bad smell that wouldnt go away, dirty floor, we got dirty towels, but the cleaning staff never came up to our room and there was nobody around to ask for new towels. Breakfast was bad coffee and a pre-packaged pastry that didnt look very enjoyable.

The hotel was really nice when we first entered. It has everything my family and I needed. Its clean and spacious. We got a room facing the street so we were able to open the windows and enjoy a nice breeze and a nice view. It was very enjoyable to hang out by the window. Traffic wasnt very loud and we could see the tip of the Golden Gate Bridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And this is where we will go back to when we visit San Francisco
I dont think this is necessarily the hotels fault but other guests staying are very inconsiderate. They were very loud getting to their rooms, when they were outside the rooms talking very loudly, and listening to the tv very loud. We got past it and enjoyed our stay but Ive never had that situation.

Location quite good.
Terrible smell in the room, other guests also had their door open. Didn't help enough. There was also plenty of dust. Beds, bathroom and microwave were clean. Didn't use the kitchen.

The location was excellent and communication with staff was very accommodating, especially since I had made an error and reserved two rooms. Then my booking was not confirmed with my card on the website at bookings.com The front desk manager handled everything personally, assuring me not to worry and allowed me to rest and wait in the room assigned.
It rained all weekend! Transportation was just a block away, very accessible even with my disability.

Very clean easy parking. Does what it says on the tin
Pay $100 deposit for damages but then walk in to a room with damage. Doesnt make a lot of sense but wouldnt stop me staying again - got my deposit money back fairly quickly
