Breakfast was adequate. Wine and cheese hour was a bonus.
No coffee maker in the room. I left 2 shirts hanging in the closet, have sent 2 emails requesting they send them to me, have not had a response.

It is a beautiful old hotel that has been renovated in a strange way.
It seems like the staff don't have any investment in the property and every thing is quite rote.

Staff very friendly. Location great as near public transport and opposite the Golden Gate Park which was beautiful. The "Meet the manager drinks" at 5pm was a lovely way to mix with other residents.
The only improvement would have been to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room and possibly a mini fridge. Also very surprised to have plastic knives and forks at breakfast!

Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to The UCSF medical buildings.
The parking area was across the street from the hotel.

Well maintained historic hotel with a lot of lovely photographs documenting the history of San Francisco. Very helpful and friendly staff. Coffee for breakfast was decent - good selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast. Amazing location, allowing the exploration of Golden Gate Park on foot.
Breakfast far from sustainable. Cakes, Croissants and Bagels all individually wrapped. All plates/cups/cutlery single use. No air condition in the room (it was hot in San Francisco) - but a fan was provided when it was requested. Puzzling operation of the shower.

Hotel in historic building, decently maintained. Suit was of lather large size. Close-by construction was free replacement of alarm in the morning. Breakfast was OK, but sometimes spotty and inconsistent, depending of your luck in resupply time.
Nothing major, but few little things did not support good value

Location is good especially if walking in the park is in your daily schedule. Reasonable breakfast. Bonus vine in the evening. Well furnished apartment still in good condition. Comfortable beds.
Parking around hotel is hit or miss. (No secret in SF). Little noise in the morning on construction site nearby. We expected little better breakfast for the price paid.
