union square is centrally located. Unfortunately, the parking fee is exhorbitant - $100? wow. The remodel makes the facilities feel a little sad, especially not having a marquee restaurant like Bourbon Steak (or any other like) on the premises.

Location is nice, rooms were nice, room service was good.
This hotel charges a destination fee, so what you pay on Booking.com isn't the final price for the hotel. Pretty ridiculous. They also require you to register for their Mariott club to use WiFi for free, WiFi shouldn't require such hoops to be jumped through and should be free.

Fantastic location, beautiful lobby and wonderful views from our room. The service was excellent, Luis at the front desk a particular highlight.

We come here every year to spend time around Union Square before Christmas. We can walk to all the attractions (ice skating rink, dinner, shopping, China Town). Very comfy beds and nice views from the Tower rooms.
Since it was Christmas Eve, the hotel was short staffed (and there was a hotel strike) so that was too bad. The staff who were there were very nice and attentive so that was good. The lobby was being renovated so we didn't get to see the large Gingerbread Castle but a smaller version instead.
