I loved the location of the hotel by the harbor. It was very convenient and in a area with alot of restaurants to visit.

when we checked in I was told they over booked and my room that was booked was unavailable so they downsized us to a king bed and sofa pullout ,as I booked previously for 2 queen bed suite with a pull-out couch

Nothing worst hotel ever. They make up fake charges so they can get more money out of you do not stay here ever. They will charge your card for stuff you never got.
I want to warn future guests, especially African American travelers, to be cautious when staying here. My group was falsely charged a smoking fee, even though no one smoked inside our room. We only smoked outside in the designated area staff told us was allowed.
No smoke or vape detector ever went off, and the hotel provided no proof or photos showing any smoking inside. The charge seemed to be based only on smell, which can easily come from being outdoors.
When I tried to dispute it, I called the hotel multiple times — they kept putting me on hold for long periods and then the call would disconnect. This happened three times. On the fourth call, no one answered at all, but when my friend called from a different number, they picked up immediately.
This experience felt unfair and unprofessional. I’ve noticed this happens too often to Black guests, and it needs to stop. Guests deserve to be treated with respect and charged based on facts, not assumptions.

Staff that double charged me stating I didn’t prepay and when I showed all the receipts and Booking.com rep spoke to Jae, Jae mentioned they had a change in software and my payment is probably on the old software. I had to pay again in hopes I was getting a refund. Never happened. Filed a dispute with my credit card company. Sent them all the receipts. Filed complaint with Booking.com

Accessible safe location
The parking was in a open parking lot, not just for the people staying at the hotel. It was fine. It took a while to figure out how to use the pay machines and not only for us other people.

The breakfast hours were longer than stated. It was yummy . The porter/bell hop was so helpful I think his name was Marvin.
Our room lacked an iron, we had to call housekeepng, it was dirty on the bottom when it was delivered.
The couch in the sitting room was sagging, Toliet paper holder wasn't convenient to the toliet
