The exterior of the building is interesting. The front-desk guy was personable.
Toilet didn't work. TV didn't work. The laminate flooring in the room was in need of a good scrubbing. 2 of the 3 cereals available at breakfast were stale. Overall, just a very, very tired hotel in need of a major refurbishment.

We went to Baltimore for Artscape. This hotel was very close and provided easy access to everything in the city. We had to pay extra for parking but for us it was worth it.
Breakfast was meager.

Unique feel to it, so much more enjoyable than your average chain, and in a great location in Baltimore. Mt. Vernon is an ideal area to stay, lots of neighborhood bars and easy access to downtown

the room was really large and the bed super comfortable. The location is really great in a very interesting neighborhood with a lot of places to see and places to eat within easy walking distance.
two drawbacks, the parking can be pretty difficult. the hotel has some reserved parking but not nearly all that they need. I would not really count on much of a "free breakfast" , just skip it and go to one of the nice cafe or coffee shops in the area

It was close to a lot of attractions like museums and monuments. It was also close to restaurants and bars.
Our room smelled super weird. It was in the lowest level and it just smelled bad. Not like smoke, just bad. Like mold and b.o.

Its my home away from home. Very accommodating staff. Great neighborhood location with nearby restaurants and bars. Great rooms and bath soaps/lotions.
