Location, close to everything in downtown baltimore. Ambience, classic
This hotel could be a 10! There was a cheer convention this particular weekend and I've never seen anything like it. The place was a mess. Overflowing trash, kids running everywhere. Food and drinks left on the floor, piano, table and foyer area. Hall ways littered. We were here for a prom send off and were only here a few hours, but the staff was impeccable. Those three brothers worked their butts off to help us get some good shots and they struggled to keep up with the overflow of constant trash left behind. I purchased a room and was disappointed that it wasn't stocked with anything. Not a wash cloth towel, handsoap I found the nearest cleaning lady and she promptly addressed the issue. Not sure I'll be going back but this hotel has so much potential.

I loved the historical architecture, details, and artifacts around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Super easy pre-check in made it extremely quick once in property. Room was a big size and extremely clean.

The hotel was very clean and the amenities were perfect. Hotel lobby bar and little bistro was great after a long day of travel. We didn't want to go out into the city after traveling a long day but definitely wanted to unwind with a cocktail and a small bite to eat before retiring for the night.
The valet was prompt and efficient. The front desk was beyond pleasant and friendly. Went out of their way to explain everything and even offered to show us some neighboring restaurants that delieved because our arrival was later than expected and they knew the restaurant in house would be shortly closed. We especially loved the water station in the main lobby. We found it refreshing and needed after our long drive.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable but over all the stay, the room, the bathroom was clean and stocked with all you could possibly need.

The hotel was old n has a musty smell to it I would say even have gothic haunted vibes if that's your thing Youll like it and the distance to the parking area just really sent me over the edge it was too far n just won't be a place id return to

Beautiful looking hotel. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. We asked for an extra pillow, they said none are available. No espresso martini’s. Food was of poor grade. Coffee at their shop sucked. No one working at this hotel were happy at all. We won’t be back.
