Location, bfast provided
The pool was closed and we didn’t receive any communication prior to arrival. Immediate disappointment from our kids. The fridge in our room didn’t work and we brought lots of food. Had to get a replacement fridge that evening. Luckily all our food kept. Our suite had one window tucked in the corner. It was a very depressing space.

There was no place to park. I wound up having to pay an extra $150 unexpectedly for valet parking so that there was somewhere to put my vehicle for 2 days.

The staff member that checked us in failed to state what was being held on my card. It was an extra $120. Which I’m glad I didn’t need because o didn’t know. The first room smelled like mold as soon as you opened the door. The second too bathroom hasn’t been swept. There was plastic from new clothing in the floor as well as dust and dirt. The tub had orange rust spots on it. I was told they would send pull out couch linen up but I didn’t review it for 5 hours. The next day I put the dirty linen from my toddler on the floor and when they cleaned the room they did not make the bed but left the dirt linen on the floor with no clean linen being left, so I had to call again. The rooms are very dated. Breakfast was not good either. This was not worth the money I spent at all.

The location was great. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was comfortable. The workout room was nice.
I wish there would've been a waffle bar. Would have liked a better room view. Would have liked fresh granola. It was left out and covered in plastic wrap in the serving line area. I don’t know if it was reused or disposed of. There wasn't water in the workout room. The pool was out of order.

Location compared to event.
I booked this hotel specifically for the pool, only to arrive and find it closed without any prior notice. Given the price I paid for our stay, this was extremely frustrating. The manager’s only solution was to suggest using the YMCA down the road—hardly an equivalent experience. My kids were disappointed, and I feel completely let down. This stay was not worth the cost, and I would not book here again.

The staff was amazing!!! Joel at the front desk went above and beyond!!! This will be the only place we stay when we visit. Kim at the happy hour reception was also amazing!!
