Decent facility. Appeared well kept.
Staff unhelpful..... Request for first floor both by reservation request and phone call went ignored. Arrived and was put on 4th floor and informed "the elevators are broken" do had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs to get to room and to take dog out. Ridiculous for a 65 year old man with arthritis and his 12 year old Labrador.

There was no breakfast Review for Red Roof Inn – Southside Longview, TX (Near I-20)
I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn on the Southside of Longview, TX, near Interstate 20. The experience had both positives and negatives.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and any issues I had much easier to deal with. Their customer service was one of the highlights of my stay.
However, there were some major downsides. The hotel does not offer breakfast, which was disappointing. Additionally, the room had roaches, which made the stay uncomfortable and raised concerns about cleanliness.
Overall, while the staff was great, the lack of breakfast and the pest issue were significant drawbacks. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.
