Absolutely nothing!
Only stayed in the room a few hours. We had two times people kept knocking on our door, we then had a fire on our floor at 1am. When consulted with management no good solutions provided and we drove home 5 hours in the middle of the night: It was bad!! Worse customer service by hotel and booking.com. We’ve spent countless hours and still no refund. How pathetic!

I love HIE! So clean and very comfortable beds.
Not a big dealbut I booked a single king bed and ended up with 2 queens.
I dont like the new decor that is pretty much in all hotels. Less welcoming and not warm and cozy.

horrible experience their washer blew up while my clothes was in there both days we stayed they didn’t clean our room paid for parking and never had parking available was promised a refund for both days we stayed and reimbursed for my damaged clothing and never heard back. customer service was so bad and the receptionist was begging my daughter for food on shift. security or maintenance was harassing my daughters. wouldn’t ever stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location – close to the airport and in the central part of SLC.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was simple but perfectly fine for the purpose.
Breakfast was especially good: although there were no vegetables or salad, there were several types of eggs, pastries, pancakes, muesli, and drinks. The tea I had was a great way to start the day.

We only stayed 2 nights. But I loved the location, we were able to walk almost everywhere. We should have asked about Gateway Mall before we walked that far. We didn’t realize everything was closed down. It has been a long time since we visited SLC . But hotel staff was great and breakfast was good also.
